We are seeking an experienced Pain Specialist Doctor to join our medical team. As a Pain Specialist, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive pain management services, including consultations and various interventional procedures such as nerve block injections, joint injections, and Botox treatments. Your expertise will play a crucial role in helping patients effectively manage and alleviate their pain. We are looking for a start date in early Fall of 2023.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Pain Management Consultations: Conduct thorough evaluations of patients with chronic pain conditions, assess their medical history, perform physical examinations, and determine appropriate pain management strategies.
  • Interventional Procedures: Perform nerve block injections, joint injections, and Botox treatments to target specific areas of pain and improve patients’ overall well-being.
  • Treatment Planning: Develop personalized pain management plans for patients, incorporating a combination of pharmacological, interventional, and non-pharmacological approaches to address their unique needs.
  • Follow-up Care: Monitor patients’ progress throughout the treatment process, making adjustments to their pain management plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes and long-term pain relief.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other medical specialists, healthcare providers, and therapists to provide a multidisciplinary approach to pain management and enhance the overall care for patients.
  • Patient Education: Educate patients and their families about pain management options, potential risks and benefits of procedures, and techniques for self-care and pain coping strategies.
  • Research and Innovation: Stay updated with the latest developments in pain management, interventional procedures, and emerging technologies to continuously improve treatment methods and patient outcomes.
  • Compliance and Documentation: Adhere to all relevant medical standards, guidelines, and legal regulations, ensuring accurate and complete documentation of patient records and procedure details.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) from an accredited medical school.
  • Board certification in Pain Medicine or Anesthesiology (or equivalent) with a focus on pain management.
  • Active medical license in the state or region of practice.
  • Demonstrated experience in performing interventional pain management procedures, including nerve block injections, joint injections, and Botox treatments.
  • Strong diagnostic skills and ability to create comprehensive pain management plans tailored to individual patient needs.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, their families, and the medical team.
  • Dedication to providing compassionate care and improving patients’ quality of life through effective pain management.
